Esmi Protocol
The Esmi protocol is a serial communication protocol used for interconnecting Esmi Schneider fire detection panels (FDS) with monitoring systems. TNA devices provide support for the Esmi protocol, enabling alarm messages from Esmi Schneider panels to be received and forwarded to evalink talos.
When the Esmi integration is enabled, the TNA listens for incoming messages from the fire detection panel on the serial port (/dev/serialPort), acknowledges them, and forwards the received alarm data to evalink talos using the alarmMessage attribute without any modifications.
The protocol support is implemented at the base level. Any further parsing of received messages is performed on the evalink talos side.
Enable Esmi on the TNA Web Server
Access level 4 is required to enable or disable the Esmi integration.
When Esmi is enabled, the TNA allocates the serial port and no other TNA feature configured to use the serial port can be started.
Esmi cannot be enabled if another TNA feature is already using the serial port.
To enable the Esmi integration, do the following:

On the TNA Web Server, navigate to Settings > Integrations from the top right corner of the page.

From the list of integrations, search for Esmi Info Protocol and toggle it on.
Once the Esmi integration is enabled, you can find it under Integrations on the top navigation menu.
The status is also reflected on the Integrations section of the Home page.
Configure Esmi Info Protocol
Access level 3 or above is required to configure the Esmi Info Protocol integration.
To configure Esmi parameters, do the following:
- On the TNA Web Server, click on Integrations from the top navigation menu and choose Esmi.
- On the page, configure the following:
