Workflow Outcome Selection

Workflow Outcomes

In the workflow processing view, after all workflow steps are completed, the operator may be prompted to select a Workflow Outcome from the list, see the figure below.

Workflow Outcome selection

A Workflow Outcome is a global preset that defines how the workflow event log report is distributed. Examples of report distribution options applied via a Workflow Outcome are:

  • no emalining (the event log report is only stored in evalink talos event logs)
  • emailing to certain recipients / groups of recipients

A separate Workflow Outcome is typically configured to specify the list of recipients for each specific case, for example:

  • Police intervention – for notifying of an emergency that required calling the police
  • Tehnical – for alerting technicians about issues with equipment or connectivity
  • No Email – for skipping event log report distribution

Know Which Outcome to Select

A user with Operator Minimal permissions cannot view which event logging options will be applied by each Workflow Outcome.

If it is necessary to find out this information, contact an evalink talos user with Administrator, Manager, or Operator permissions.
