View the Site Settings

You can view the key settings of a site on the site Overview page. To open the page, go to the Sites page and click the site name in the list.

The Overview page displays the site contact information, the installer details, the codewords and the Custom Fields configured, if these details were specified on the site Settings subpage by previous users.

The Settings Subpage

The Settings subpage displays some settings that are not viewable on any other pages. To open the subpage, scroll to the middle of the page and click the settings Settings button.

info

Although some fields on the subpage appear editable, Operator cannot save any changes and only has permissions for viewing.

In the Time Zone pane, you can view the time zone selected for the site.

In the Special Alarms pane, you can view the list of alarms that are processed untypically:

  • Ignored Alarms

Ignored alarms are not displayed to Operator. These alarms are closed automatically and logged as Events.

  • Rejected Alarms

Rejected Alarms are not displayed to Operator. These alarms are declined automatically and not logged.

info

Both Ignored and Rejected alarms can be configured both globally and on the site level.

An alarm code set in the Ignored Alarms or the Rejected Alarms field indicates an alarm that is ignored / rejected on the site level.

An alarm code preceded with a ! (for example: !302 or !RP) indicates an exception for the current site from the global ignore / reject rule.

  • Alarm for activation – upon receiving this alarm, evalink talos activates the site

  • Alarm for deactivation – upon receiving this alarm, evalink talos deactivates the site

For information about the Active and Inactive states of the site, see section Work with Overall Site Status.

info

Administrator and Manager can change a site status by other means – for example, by setting a timer for site activation or deactivation. If a timer is set, a corresponding notification is displayed in the Device Status area on the site Overview page, see section Work with Overvall Site Status.

To return to the Overview page, click the <- Back link at the top of the page.
