Configure Network Parameters
The Networks tab under the Miscellaneous section provides options for managing basic network access and diagnostic settings of your TNA device. These settings include the network hostname, web server port, remote web access, and ICMP echo responses (ping).
These configurations are used during initial system setup or network troubleshooting and may affect how the device is accessed remotely or from within a local network.
- On the TNA Web Server, navigate to
Miscellaneous
Operations >

-
Under the Networks tab, enter the hostname in the Hostname (Network) field. This identifies the TNA within the local network. The maximum value: 30 characters.
The default value is the model of your TNA device. For example: ipTNA4i_v2.02, TNAConnect_v1.2, TNAConnect_v2.0
The hostname is the name that the TNA device sends to the DHCP server and it will appear in your router’s client list.
-
In the Web Server port field, enter the web server port number.
The default value is 8080. The port range is between 1024 - 32767

Enable Remote Assistance
The Remote Assistance tab provides support features that enable temporary, secure remote access to the TNA by the technical support team. This includes a direct connection to a support server and an optional SSH server for advanced troubleshooting.
These settings should only be enabled when authorized technical support is needed, and disabled afterward to minimize security risks.
- On the TNA Web Server, navigate to
Miscellaneous
Operations >

-
Select the Remote Assistance tab
-
Toggle Allow Remote Assistance to establish a temporary secure connection for troubleshooting from evalink talos
After you enable the setting, you need to contact the support team to start the troubleshooting session.
-
(Optional) Toggle Enable SSH Server to permit SSH terminal connections and SFTP-based file transfer to and from the TNA
Note: The SSH Server can only be accessed when the TNA device is part of your local network.
