evalink talos Integrations

Integrations Overview

In this documentation, an integration is a connection to a third-party tool or service that adds functional capabilities to evalink talos.

For the full list of evalink talos integrations, see the evalink marketplace website.

For some integrations, video tutorials are available with instructions on how to configure them in evalink talos. See section Video Tutorials in this article.

The integrations fall into the following major groups:

  • integrations that feed data to evalink talos

    Some examples are:

    • alarm transmitter integrations – a group of integrations that enable receiving alarms from hardware transmitter devices (alarm panels)

For details on this group of integrations, see section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations.

Each alarm transmitter integration is powered by one of the virtual receivers in evalik talos. For a list of virtual receivers and the particular alarm transmitter integrations that rely on them, see section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations > evalink talos Virtual Receivers.

    • integrations that convert incoming messages arriving by various channels into alarms – for example, Virtual Email Receiver perform the conversion for email messages, Virtual SMS Receiver – for SMS

    • integrations that receive alarms from third-party alarm management systems – for example, the Alarm.com integration

    • integrations that connect evalink talos to video surveillance systems and allow receiving real-time video feeds and the associated alarms / events – for example, the Eagle Eye Networks, NXGEN Genesis integrations

    • incoming Webhooks – an integration that makes it possible for external systems to trigger alarms in evalink talos without any special configuration setup

      info

Some integrations belong to several groups at once.

  • integrations that enable the user to perform certain actions, for example, from a workflow

    Some examples are:

    • integrations that allow reaching out to a contact person via the specified communication channel
      • Twilio integrations
        • Twilio SMS Notifications for sending SMS to a phone number
        • Twilio Automated Calls for automated calls with text-to-speech capabilities
        • Twilio VoIP Calls for browser-based incoming and outgoing VoIP calls
      • Email, Slack integrations – allow sending notifications via email or Slack messenger, accordingly
    • integrations that allows performing an action on a remote site – for example, the Brivo integration that allows opening / closing a door

For full information about the capabilities provided by each integration, see evalink marketplace.

Video Tutorials

This section provides links to tutorials on how to configure a particular integration. This section lists all tutorials that are currently available.

info

Some videos show the old version of the global Integrations page in evalink talos UI.

Configure Email Integration

This integration allows sending an email to a contact person from a workflow step.

Configure Virtual Email Receiver

This integration allows to convert emails that arrive in the user mailbox into alarms.

Configure a Virtual DC-09 Receiver

Virtual SIA Receiver is one of the virtual receivers that power alarm transmitter integrations. For information on this type of integrations, see articles in section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations.

This particular virtual receiver works with devices that send alarms via the SIA DC-09 alarm protocol: Ajax, Jablotron, Risco, AddSecure, TAS, etc.

For information on how to select a connection monitoring scheme (SLA) for a virtual receiver, see section Direct Connection Monitoring (SLA) in section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations.

Configure a Virtual TNA Receiver

Virtual TNA Receiver is one of the virtual receivers that power alarm transmitter integrations. For information on this type of integrations, see articles in section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations.

This particular virtual receiver works with Sitasys TNA devices: ipTNA4i and TNA Connect.

For information on how to select a connection monitoring scheme (SLA) for a virtual receiver, see section Direct Connection Monitoring (SLA) in section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations.

Configure a Virtual Vanderbilt SPC Receiver (FlexC Receiver)

Virtual Vanderbilt SPC Receiver is one of the virtual receivers that power alarm transmitter integrations. For information on this type of integrations, see articles in section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations.

This virtual receiver provides the connection with Vanderbilt SPC alarm panels that send alarms via Flexible Secure Communication (FlexC) protocol.

For information on how to select a connection monitoring scheme (SLA) for a virtual receiver, see section Direct Connection Monitoring (SLA) in section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations.

Configure a Virtual VdS Receiver

Virtual VdS Receiver is one of the virtual receivers that power alarm transmitter integrations. For information on this type of integrations, see articles in section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations.

This virtual receiver works with alarm panels that communicate over VdS protocol (VdS 2465 or VdS SecurIP): Telenot, Daitem, ABI Security Systems, etc.

For information on how to select a connection monitoring scheme (SLA) for a virtual receiver, see section Direct Connection Monitoring (SLA) in section Work with Alarm Transmitter Integrations.
