Edit, Delete, or Disable a Workflow

Edit, Delete, or Disable a Workflow

These operations are performed in the workflow editor. For details on opening the editor, see section Work with Workflow Steps > Workflow Editor.

Edit a Workflow

You can edit the following parameters of the workflow:

To edit a workflow:

  1. Open the workflow in the editor

  2. Apply the desired changes

  3. Save the changes by clicking the Save button  Save button  or enable the auto-save option (see section Work with Workflow Settings > Enable the Auto-Save Option).

Delete a Workflow

Deleting a workflow cannot be undone.

Deleting a Managed Workflow from the Workflows page on which it was created is possible only after the workflow is unlinked from all sites.

To delete a workflow:

  1. Сlick on the three dots icon more_vert in the upper-left corner of the workflow editor (see the figure below)

  2. Select Delete

  3. Enter the confirmation code and click Confirm Delete

info

The deletion of a linked Managed Workflow on the site level only unlinks the Managed Workflow from the site.

Disable a Workflow

You can disable a workflow instead of deleting it – for example, to keep it for future reference. A disabled workflow becomes inactive and cannot be assigned automatically to alarms that match its incoming conditions.

To disable a workflow, click on the three dots icon more_vert in the upper-left corner of the workflow editor and select Disable (see the figure below):

Delete or disable a workflow

A disabled workflow remains in the list on the Workflows page, marked with strikethrough formatting.

info

Disabling a Managed Workflow disables this workflow on all sites to which it is linked.

Disabling a linked Managed Workflow on the site level doesn't affect the original Managed Workflow.
