Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver Global Setup

In this section, the term panel indicates a connected 3d-party panel of any model, if not stated otherwise.

The term a receiver instance indicates a single Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver with a unique account assigned by evalink talos and optionally an encryption key.

As it is with other virtual receivers, you must first enable Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver on a global level. After that it is possible to enable and configure instances of Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver for particular sites.

When Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver is configured globally, it becomes available for configuration in the Receivers tab of all sites. If you disable Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver globally, all receiver instance records will be removed from the Receivers tab of each site and it will no longer be available for configuration on the site level.

This section provides instructions on how to enable Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver globally and interpret its global connection status.

Enable Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver Globally

To enable Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver on a global level:

  1. Go to Company > Integrations

  2. Scroll to the Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver and click add Add Integration

    The configuration dialog opens. The toggle is set to Integration Enabled automatically.

  3. (Optional) Check the Ignore Alarm Descriptions from the Device

    Depending on the type of a device you connect to the instance of Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver, the alarm descriptions it sends may not be useful. Check this checkbox if you want evalink talos only use the parsed information from the SIA message in the payload.

  4. (Applicable only for Ajax panels) Enter your Ajax username and password in the corresponding fields

    You can obtain these credentials once you fully configure your AjaxPRO application to work with evalink talos.

  5. Click Submit

Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver Global Enable Status

When you enable the receiver globally, it is marked as enabled in the integration record, and has a green checkmark next to the integration logo.

The checkmark only means that you have enabled the integration globally. It does not reflect panel connection status or any misconfiguration on a site level.

Enabling Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver globally

After Virtual DC09 Receiver is enabled globally, it appears in the list of configurable virtual receivers for each site.

Edit or Disable Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver Globally

On the global level the only editing options available for the Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver is enabling or disabling it and changing Ajax credentials if you're using them.

If you enable the integration after a disable, all Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver instance records that you had for sites will be shown again in the corresponding integration tab.

You can enable / disable the Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver by doing one of the following procedures:

  1. click the corresponding three dots icon more_vert next to the receiver in the Integrations tab

  2. Select link_off Disable or link Enable

  3. Click OK in the confirmation window if you are disabling the integration

An alternative procedure:

  1. Click the corresponding build Edit Integration button in the Company > Integrations tab

  2. Set the Integration Enabled toggle on or off

  3. Change your Ajax login and password to connect to a different Ajax Hub account

  4. Click Submit

Delete Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver Globally

To delete Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver Globally:

  1. Go to Company > Integrations

  2. Click the corresponding three dots icon more_vert

  3. Select delete Delete Integration

  4. Type the confirmation and click Confirm Delete

If you have Virtual SIA DC09 Receiver instances connected and configured on any site, deleting the integration on the global level will remove all configured receivers and their configuration data.
